Federica Moretti works on social welfare, children and borders by developing an analysis of the Kannerschlass Foundation, a secular institution in Sanem, Luxembourg, supporting children, young people, adults and families in difficult and distressing situations. For this research project, she works in collaboration with Prof. Machteld Venken.
Federica is an anthropologist trained at the Universities of Lausanne, Leuven and Turin. She was an Erasmus exchange student at the University of Bremen and a visiting PhD candidate at the University Côte d’Azur.
Her research interests include imaginaries, migration, (im)mobilities, borders, artivism, religious diversity, multimodal and multisensory anthropology, ethics and scientific communication.
